Happy Independence Day on Saturday, July 4th!
In observance of the holiday, the office will be closed on Friday, July 3rd.

  • Please remember to wash any company dishes that you use once you are finished – do not leave them in the sink.  Also remember to work as a team: if you see spills, messes, or anything out of in order around the office or breakrooms, please take a moment to clean it. Events like that can be avoided if everyone cleans after themselves as well.
  • In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, please opt to use the available ceramic coffee mugs instead of paper. Please also do not forget to wash your cup once you are finished.
  • It is recommended that a quarter is donated for every magazine you take. At the end of the second quarter, we will count the donations and give to a children's charity. This quarter we will donate to the Polly Klaas Foundation which is a charity organization devoted to preventing crimes against children, assisting in the recovery of missing children
  • Departments need to be aware of the refrigerator cleaning schedule in the main breakroom. The July list is posted in there and a new blog post will follow later this week.

Kris: She realized that my request was urgent without my telling her. She made my request top priority and turned my files around quickly.

Chris Z.: Chris's willingness to find a solution for my issue despite his suffering from a migraine ... he always goes the extra mile to help me.

Sandi: Sandi has been very helpful in obtaining files for me in order to complete our claiming process.  She always responds quickly to all of my requests.

Brittney: I was going to be out of the office for a few days and Brittney assisted me in creating all of my trial galleys for the days I would be out, which has saved me many hours of work! Thank you Brittney for always helping me when I'm overwhelmed!

Nataliya: Nataliya implemented an update to the on-line CMG wholesaler statement in time for the new accounting month and the wholesalers have come back with very positive input on the change. Thanx Nataliya for making our job easier!

Sara: I would like to thank Sara for going her extraordinary efforts in supporting the Business users and in particular Data Control and Publisher Payables.  Sara is constantly solving problems for users and is never too busy to listen attentively to any IT related issues we might have. Great job Sara, I don't know what we would do without you.

Nataliya: I really appreciate Nataliya's help with problem solving and coordination for the data loads from Curtis.

Jim: Jim is always eager to provide assistance with software migrations and environment configurations.  He has a positive attitude which makes working with him pleasurable.

Kris: I have been cross-training with Kris Weigel recently and she was very detailed in the procedures she explained to me. She also answered all my questions thoroughly. She was a joy to work with.

Anne: She had a very kind voice with a smile in it and was very understanding as to why something wasn\'t completed on time. It was refreshing to talk to such a NICE person because these days that just doesn\'t happen anymore. She took her time in explaining to me, etc. Very nice person! She's a keeper!

Aruna: She always offers a helping hand, she has tremendous understanding of all the systems in IT and the business. She is a problem solver!

Maria: She has been a quick learner, she is always very supportive, positive and organized, always ready to take on new things and above all she is fun to work with.

Darryl: I've always noticed Darryl is a dedicated worker and always takes pride in doing a fine job in his department!

Uday: He was extremely helpful when we were having a problem with Oracle and importing files for our weekly allotment notices. He stayed late to make sure we could import the files we needed.

Sara: She has solved an urgent problem we were having with importing files for our weekly allotment notices. She stayed late to ensure everything was fixed and made sure we were set.

Kris: She was thorough answering of questions and inquiry regarding reporting

Alok: He is an excellent mentor! His patience in teaching and sharing information have helped me grow as an employee! Alok always has time to answer a question, review a problem, or offer insight in resolving software issues.  I appreciate the time he has spent helping me to increase my own knowledge of Sharepoint so that I can help others in the company too!

Carlyne: She is not only a breath of fresh air and one of the most kind people to work with, but she took the time to explain her role with check, Invoice, and payment processes so it would help me better understand my roles and responsibilities in accounting.

Liz C.: She has been a huge help for me lately with answering the door for deliveries and assisting with magazine deliveries. She has been signing and bringing over my monthly titles to display. It helps me tremendously and is very appreciated.
